Communications Design for Corby Sixth Form | The Bedford College Group | 2023
Over the past few years, I have been working with The Bedford College Group, taking on progressively greater responsibilities in communications design. In 2023, I was entrusted with the communications design for the newly launched Corby Sixth Form, which opened in September 2023.
In this role, I developed a sub-brand for Corby Sixth Form that seamlessly aligns with the existing branding of The Bedford Sixth Form. This involved creating a range of marketing collateral to promote the new institution, ensuring consistency with institutional brands such as the UK Government’s Levelling Up initiative, North Northamptonshire Council, and other affiliated partners.
A key innovation I introduced was the extensive use of dynamic QR codes across all communication materials. This strategic approach not only modernised traditional marketing efforts by bridging them with digital engagement but also provided valuable insights through the monitoring of document usage. This data-driven approach enabled us to optimise resource management by understanding which materials were most effective and how they were utilised.
